The original surface route to the Scarface (161d) entrance of Kaninchenhöhle pioneered in 1996 had some short roped climbs which were later bypassed. Here, Gunilla Andrée descends the first of these climbs, not far below the col between Vorderer and Hinterer Schwarzmooskogel.
