Problems: Drugs to consider
Heart Attack: Asprin
Headaches/fever: Paracetamol
Muscular/skeletal pain:
  Default: Paracetamol
  Swelling: Ibuprofen
  Moderate Pain: Paracetamol and Ibuprofen
  Severe Pain: Paracetamol and Voltarol
Diarrhoea: Rehydration salts, Loperamide
Vomiting: Rehydration salts, Domperidone
Guidance:
Paracetamol: Take 500mg-1000mg every 4 hours.  No more than 4000mg in a 24hour period
Ibuprofen: Do not take with asprin, voltarol, on an empty stomach, or if pregnant.
Only for asthmatics that have taken it before without a problem.  Try to avoid if you have a stomach ulcer.  Take 400mg-800mg every 4hours.  No more than 2400mg in a 24 hour period.
Voltarol: Do not take with ibuprofen or asprin, if pregnant or if you have a stomach ulcer.  Avoid if nauseous after a head injury or if level of conciousness decreased.  Only for asthmatics that have taken it before without a problem.  Take 50mg upto 3 times a day, preferably at meal times.
Rehydration salts: Mix one desert spoon of sugar and a teaspoon of salt with one litre of water and sip slowly.
Loperamide: For use with debilitating diarrohea. Take two capsules initially (swallowed whole with water) and additional tablets after each period of diarrohea for upto five days.  Take no more than 8 in a 24hour period.
Zirtec allergy relief: Take one 10mg tablet with water.  Do not use id pregnant or if you have kidney problems or an allergy to antihistamines.
Domperidone: When vomiting prevents moving the patient or there is a significant risk of dehydration.  10-20mg tablets every 4-8 hours.  No more than 80mg in any 24hour period.
Asprin: For suspected heart attacks.  Do not take with ibuprofen or voltarol or decreased level of conciousness or if the patient has a stomach ulcer.  Avoid if nauseus after head injury.  Take one tablet.
