This is a view from just above Old Top Camp (to the left of the Sattel) out across the centre and eastern half of the Loser-AugstEck Plateau, typical of the first view a new visitor gets (if the weather is good). The highest peak is the Schönberg, the highest point of which has a cross, and is in the centre (below "hö" in the picture. The peaks to its right are all lower but nearer. Bearings on the Kleine Wildkogel should state whether the right or left hand end of the peak is being used (or take bearings on both !). Just in front these peaks is the beginning of the adjacent 1626 kataster area. The bivvy used since 2000 is out of sight to the right.
